Filipinos what have we become
Don't you know that we are one
I used to see a painting
The rarest one that I've seen
Where people carried a small house
Made of bamboo and palm tree leaves
We call it Bayanihan
The brotherhood of all men
We were a great example
To every man, woman, and child
But today I just can't see
The painting that I used to see
Where are the people who carried our brotherhood
Wish they could come again
Filipinos what have we become
Don't you know that we are one
I used to read a story
About our hospitality
When people came to our house
We treated them as family
We offered seats to strangers
To the ladies and the elders
We helped them cross the streets
If they can't make it on their own
But today I just can't see
The story that I used to read
Where are the people who carried our brotherhood
Wish they would come again
We are the people of the sun
We rise when we fall
And help those who can't make it on their own
Because we are one
Filipinos of the world
The people of the sun
We rise for everyone
Help those who can't make it on their own
Because we are one
Filipinos of the world

Better Days

Listen, my child
To what your father teaches you today
Don't neglect it
It will cover you with honor and grace
If the world will say
"Come join us. Get sidetracked"
Then you'll hear your father say
"Turn back"
The world is so full of distractions
Corruption you'll see them in their ways
Befriends you, deceives you
Pretending then leaves you
On you, they throw their wastes
Where are the better days
Where are the better days
Listen, my child
Treasure my instructions to you know
Listen clearly
For today's the day I'm gonna show you how
Cry out for wisdom
Then you'll learn what I've just said
And understand
The world is so full of distractions
Corruption you'll see them in their ways
Befriends you, deceives you
Pretending then leaves you
On you, they throw their wastes
Where are the better days
Where are the better days
We used to breathe a lot of air out here
We used to walk on streets
Unafraid of dark corners
We used to feel the warmth of a mother's care
But now, where are the better days
The world is so full of distractions
Corruption you'll see them in their ways
Befriends you, deceives you
Pretending then leaves you
On you, they throw their wastes
Where are the better days
Where are the better days

Magtabangay
Magtabangay
Magtabangay
Magtabangay
Pero kung makainom na'g Tanduay
Ayayay

Who are you?
I am a struggling musician.
What is a struggling
musician?
In simple terms, it's the opposite of big-name artists. Usually, a struggling musician has a day job that he hates and when night falls, he grabs his guitar and hops around the city bars to play a tune or two in exchange for a free dinner. It's close to frustration.
